Who are the Social Media Research Team (SMeRT) Librarians?

We are a small but enthusiastic group of academic librarians at various career stages but share one thing: the belief that social media can (and will) assist us in meeting our goals as we work to deliver library and information services to our user groups in the academic community. By way of introduction, take a look at the materials we are gathering on Academic library 2.0 and Library 2.0‎. And most of all – stay tuned. We are hoping to move social media research along and to create a knowledge base for our field.
